A very long name for a very small place; Monte Santa Maria Tiberina is another charming hill town not far
from Mazzaforte. Pleasant to walk around and to admire the views, there are several intimate and
enjoyable restaurants. The town promotes its medieval history ferociously, and there are many themed
events throughout the Summer and Autumn tourist season. Don't let this deter you from visiting
though, as it really is very pretty, and the drive from Mazzaforte takes you through some fine countryside.
