This past week has been difficult. At the weekend, the cottage is not yet
finished. We now have a wood floor upstairs, internal doors and all
bathroom fittings - mirrors, lights, etc.. But, some of the light fittings are
wrong and will have to be re-done this coming week. Apart from that, the
pianelli on the ground floor needs a final polish. Once this is done, we can
move in.
In the main house, all of the underfloor heating has been laid and
concreted over. The concrete will be dry enough for tiling on the first floor
by Monday and on the cantina floor by Wednesday.
